First foray into London

I went into London for the first time yesterday. I hit up the must-see's including Buckingham Palace (the queen was in), the Westminster Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Parliament, Big Ben, and I ate lunch in the upstairs (called the Opera Room) of a pub, which was really really nice. They also had one of my favorite beers on tap..

Didn't see any riots but I did see many police vans all with sirens on heading in the same direction...

My friend James comes back into town tonight so I think that on Monday I'm going to head over and spend at least a couple of days with him so I don't have to take the train every day (it's a pretty long train ride).

Huntingdon

This is the town where Betsy lives (ish). This is the center of town and she lives on the outskirts, so I take a bus to get to the center of town and from there, a train to London. Some photos of Huntingdon.
