Tuesday James and I went to the Geffrye Museum (the museum of the home) where they have several rooms and objects from different time periods. Then we walked around East London for a while, although the names of the distinct areas escape me.

ya ya London

In the neighborhood around the park, a lot of the townhouses (called terrace apartments) have these old tiled walkways

My new car

Yesterday I met James at his apt. in Queen's Park, an area of London. James is very into 50's/60's objects and culture and I his apartment is exactly the way I expected it to be.

We took the bus to Notting Hill and walked along the high street (that means that it's the main street in that area with all of the shops and the like), picked up some pizza by the slice, and on the way back walked through a small park that has a "quiet area" (pictured).
